Ever wanted to write a play but don't know where to start.

Learn the do's and don'ts.The course is an introduction to the basics of scriptwriting for screen and is open to anyone 18+ regardless of experience. The course is ongoing and the 6 weeks will focus on structure, dialogue,character and developing plots.

The idea of the programme is that by the end of the 6 weeks each participant will have written a 10-15 minute short play. During the course the aim is to provide information about structuring and developing a sound script. The sessions will include both a lecture ‘style’ part which looks at structuring your script, the factors which are necessary for a sound script, examples of other peoples work and writing exercises.

Writing can be a lonely task, these sessions give participants the chance to meet like minded people from all different walks of life and also fresh eyes and minds to bounce your ideas off.
