Course programme
This is specialist training for care providers who require an introduction to positive behaviour support. Adaptable to all care settings, yet relevant to the core principles of PBS, this one day course will cover the key points of PBS and will provide much needed confidence in dealing in a constructive way with difficult behaviour specific to your setting. The training teaches staff how to be safe in difficult situations yet protect the dignity in a person centred way of the individual they are supporting.
Who should attend?Staff who are involved in planning care or delivering meaningful interventions when supporting people who put themselves or others at risk from difficult behaviour.
N.B Recent developments dictate that staff attending should have previously attended first aid training that has included practical demonstration of CPR.
