Course programme

The course will introduce students to the history of the railways of Great Britain. There will be a particular focus on the development and impact of the railways in the Eastleigh area. As an unaccredited course there will be no assessment; students will be awarded a college certificate on request. Part 2 of the course will focus on the railways in the Eastleigh area.The course is taught mainly by tutor input, though students will be encouraged to share their knowledge and experiences with the group.
