Eight Evening Classes Every Tuesday starting on 26th April From 7pm until 9pm
This course is for people who are thinking about starting up in business or for people who have just set up in business.
Setting up in business doesn't need to be expensive; we show you money-saving ways to set up your business and to maximise the impact of your marketing.
Main Features
The course is spread over 8 weeks and look at the checklist of all the points you need to consider when setting up a business. Over the first 4 weeks we provide a complete introduction to setting up your business.
1. Naming your company - the importance of choosing the appropriate name for your business.

2. Accountants - all businesses need an accountant, we discuss the information and advice that your accountant will provide to you
3. Bank - we discuss and compare the latest small business bank deals, describe how to write a business plan and what details you will need to open a bank account.
4. Legal - scenarios by which legal help is required
5. Insurance - We discuss the main types of insurance required to set up in business
6. HMRC - Corporation Tax registration, we describe how to complete the CT14G form within first 3 months
7. Location/property - we discuss appropriate locations for businesses
8. Establishing Processes - Setting up and documenting processes
9. Staffing/recruitment - we discuss staffing
10. Other points - regulatory, FSB, other memberships
In the last 4 weeks we focus on marketing; marketing your business is just as important as forming your business. You need to let potential customers know about your business, otherwise they will never know about your great services or products. We discuss ways to maximise the impact of your marketing on a limited budget.
