He has three degrees in counselling and is currently undertaking doctoral studies. He has taught, published, and presented in a wide range of counselling related topics, and has delivered counselling services for the past 20 years.This course is suitable for anyone who wants to explore the benefits of incorporating Practice Based Evidence as a beneficial habit into treatment to further maximise therapist awareness and treatment outcomes. Includes 14 lectures and 1.5 hours of content. It will will explore the benefits of Practice Based Evidence. It will review relationship factors, therapist factors, client factors, model factors, and placebo. It critiques the Evidence Based Practice movement for over emphasizing techniques and models more so than factors that research shows have much larger impacts on treatment outcomes. Suitable for professional development for people who provide counselling, or who are enrolled in counselling related studies.
