Introduction to BSL for the Workplace

The content of the course can vary according to the needs and work environment of the client. Typically, this may include:
  • Fingerspelling

  • Work vocabulary

  • Health and safety

  • Description of people

  • Giving directions and getting around

  • Food and drinks

  • Numbers, time, calendar

  • Signing short conversations
    What can I expect to achieve?
    By the end of the course you should be able to:

  • Conduct a basic conversation with a deaf person using sign language

  • Sign a short passage
