Introduction to the Z1 - 1 day

This one day hands on workshop will give all media professionals the opportunity to discover at first hand the advantages of working with this new and exciting format. The workshop takes a non-technical approach to learning how to shoot with the Sony Z1.

Beginning with a review of the format, delegates will all have the opportunity to shoot with the exciting new Sony HVR-Z1E and look at the operation of this camera through a series of practical exercises.  We will also examine the implications for television production.

• Compare HDV with DVCAM
  
• Understand the features of the Sony Z1, including use of the assign buttons, picture profile and shooting cineframe 25
