2. Course description The course will explore what life was like in Victorian Britain for the working class and the rich. Subjects covered will include advancements in technology and industry, the reign of Queen Victoria and a look at the notable and famous people of the era who helped shape our lives and the world we live in today. The course will look in particular at Portsmouth in the Victorian era and will include a trip to Portsmouth City Museum to discover some of the city's history.
