What will I study?
A one semester introductory course giving learners a general overview of website design and creation. It begins by explaining key web jargon, then continues by creating simple web graphics using html. The students then progress onto Dreamweaver (the industry standard application used for creating and building professional web sites) and through exercises, learn how to build structure and consistency into web content. Using this application in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop (industry standard digital imaging application) the course then culminates in an assignment and final project, where learners take the OCR Level 1 exam, then start to build their own websites.
What qualification will I get? OCR Level 1 in website creation
What can I do after the course? You can go on to employment, further training, or progress to higher level courses, including University and Colleges of Art and Design.
