Introduction:
PC Additions are exciting new courses designed to give you that little extra. You may want to learn a new skill related to your work, or master a new talent - if so PC Additions courses are ideal.

Study Mode & Location:
This three week part-time evening course lasts for 2.5 hours per week. It will be held at Park Campus, Moor Park Avenue, Preston, PR1 6AS.

Course Content:
This short course provides an opportunity to learn basic web design techniques including use of text, images, audio and video. You will also learn the basics of HTML however, this is NOT a programming course rather you will use software that generates web pages which you can then edit using basic HTML scripts.

All web authoring software and hardware is provided. Please note that we do not provide web space so although you will have created a web site you will have to arrange hosting of the site yourself. The details of this will be taught within your programme.

If you have a specific web site in mind you may like to bring in some digital images and/or prepared text. These should be brought in on CD or a USB memory stick.

There are no assessments on this course.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
Successful completion of this course may lead to other PC Additions courses or higher level studies.

How To Apply
You may need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser before enrolling on this course.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
