Course Aims:
To offer students the opportunity to gain practical basic welding qualifications and skills in the field of Fabrication.
Course Content:
Students will study and gain experience in light fabrication. Students will also be introduced to a number of welding disciplines and ultimately gain a Level 1 qualifiction in oxy-acetyline and MIG welding.

There will be a practical and an oral examination for each welding discipline.

Professional Appearance:
Students should attend all sessions wearing steel toe capped boots and overalls.
