About the Course
In order to gain the diploma you will study three
Core and three
Vocational units
• Starting work in the IT industry - learning about the different types of jobs available
• Working in the IT industry - A look at induction processes.
• Developing skills in IT - How to set up and change desktop settings.
• Using the Internet - Searching, setting up and sending a range of different emails.
• IT Applications - Learn how to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint effectively.
• Digital Devices - Taking and editing digital images.
You will also study two Personal Skills units:
• Financial Management - Looking after and managing your own budget.
• Personal Effectiveness - Taking a look at yourself and producing a CV.
Alongside this course you will also study a certificate in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, a Free Standing Maths Qualification and Functional Skills in English, Maths and IT.

You can gain a Pass, Merit or Distinction for each certificate.

No Course Fees for Under 19's. Over 19's must pay, or claim Level 2 or Level 3 Entitlement for FREE courses .
