This highly interactive, intensive and challenging 5-day training programme is designed for those people who require and in-depth understanding of auditing techniques and skills associated with the Lead Auditor role. This course is registered with both the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and the International Register of Certificate Auditors (IRCA).
This course satisfies the training requirements for those who wish to register as Lead Auditor to IEMA and depending on the overall course mark also satisfies the training requirement for registration with the IRCA. Course attendees are assessed on their knowledge and understanding throughout the course and will also be required to sit a 2-hour open book examination to assess their level of understanding.

· What are the objectives of this course?

The course will help delegates to understand the principles of good Environmental Management and to develop their knowledge of the environmental management standards. It will also develop delegates’ knowledge & understanding of different audit types, and the practical skills required to plan, execute and report environmental management audits. · Qualification

Delegates successfully completing the course, including examination, will be awarded a choice of either an IEMA registered certificate or an IRCA (A17948) registered certificate. Should you wish to have both certificates this will incur an additional £50 charge (plus VAT) to cover administrative costs. Application for both certificates is also time sensitive and must also be opted for within 3 months of passing the course exam.
