Entry requirements

* Minimum of a good Honours Degree (2:2) in Computer Science or a related discipline. Graduates who do not meet this requirement will need to prove substantial industrial computing experience.
* Applicants will also need to demonstrate English language ability (e.g. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL score of 600 or equivalent).

Course programme

The programme requires the student to undertake ten taught modules, including the completion of a major project of approximately 15,000 words. Each taught module involves lectures, tutorials, case studies and seminars.

Learning, teaching & assessment

Assessment methods are chosen in relation to the particular requirements of a module. These modules vary from 100% examination to 100% continuous assessment. Currently the balance for the core modules element is approximately 30% examination and 70% continuous assessment. The major project accounts for 60 of the 180 credits required for successful completion of the degree.
