IT Users NVQ Level 3 ITQ

This course is designed for those in work using IT extensively. It is competence based through a variety of assessment methods building a portfolio.
There is one mandatory unit (35 points) and 15 optional units (at least 5 must be taken) with between 25-35points.
Successful candidates must achieve at least 180 points
Entry RequirementsMust be employed in a job where IT is being used extensively.
Course Content
Mandatory module is 'Selective use of IT' and involves demonstrating the ability to use solution tools for a complex manner, to evaluate the performance, and see how improvements could be made.
The IS optional units cover areas such as website creation, presentations, databases, spreadsheets, email, etc.
How will I be assessed?
This qualification is assessed through the building of a portfolio. The portfolio can consist of formal work, observations of tasks carried out, record of interviews, questions and answers, witness statements, etc.
