Italian Beginners

Course Overview
This is a 12 week course.

This first course is an introduction to the language and is aimed atthose with no previous knowledge of Italian or very little.

Course Structure
By the end of the course, you will be able to get by in situations suchas:

• Exchanging personal information
• Asking for prices and understanding the response
• Asking and understanding simple directions

Qualification Aims
The course does not lead to an external qualification. You will, however, receive a Thanet CollegeCertificate on completion of the course.

Assessments/Examinations
There are no exams, butthe teacher may assess learning by the means of tests during the course.

Cost / Equipment
Tuition Fee:£120

Students may be advised by their tutor to buy a coursebook, in which casethe cost is in addition to the tuition fee, and is usually about£15.
