Summary
ECDL iTQ is an Award for IT Users building skills and knowledge in various IT areas to achieve a nationally recognised qualification based on the ECDL qualification.
About the Course
ECDL Essentials Level 1 iTQ consists of 3 Units â€" IT User Fundamentals, IT Security and Internet and Email. IT User Fundamentals consists of computer terminology, health and safety, computer maintenance and cleaning and file management, IT Security covers risks to data and equipment due to viruses and Internet and Email covers the searching the Internet and sending and receiving emails and attachments.
The course is studied via a CD ROM and at the end of each unit learners sit an online 45 minute test. The course can be studied either in our iTForAll drop-in sessions or via distance learning when learners will be allocated a personal tutor to guide them through the course and help them book their tests.

By the end of the course learners will achieve the BCS Level 1 Award for IT Users (ECDL Essentials).
