ITIL Practitioner Evening Classes

Introduction

ITIL® Practitioner is a recently introduced ITIL® qualification designed to be the next step after ITIL® Foundation.

The qualification has been created in response to requests for guidance on the practical implementation of ITIL®; while ITIL® Foundation addresses the fundamentals of ITIL®, it does not cover how to apply these basics. This is where ITIL® Practitioner comes in.

This Evening instructor-led course builds on foundational ITIL® knowledge by providing the required knowledge to implement the ITIL® framework effectively.

During the course, you will learn how to maximise the benefits of ITIL® in your organisation and adapt the framework to meet organisational needs by using the Continual Service Improvement (CSI) approach.

• This Class Starts at 5:30pm and Finishes at 10:30pm

Prerequisites

You must hold an ITIL® Foundation certificate to take this course.

You will also need to purchase the official ITIL ® Practitioner Guidance Book by Axelos (ISBN: 9780113314874)

Who Should Attend

The course is suitable for anybody holding ITIL® Foundation or above. This includes those who with ITIL® Intermediate qualifications or even ITIL® Experts.

Prior to attending, it may be beneficial to revisit your ITIL® Foundation course materials.

Exam Structure

• Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes
• Type of Examination: Open book – you are allowed to consult the ITIL® Practitioner Guidance publication during the exam.

About the exam:

The exam will be a scenario-based multiple choice exam focusing on the practicalities of implementing ITSM and the CSI approach.

There will be 40 questions in total, and the pass mark is 28/40 or 70%.

Qualifications

Once you have passed the ITIL® Practitioner Certificate Examination, you will be awarded the ITIL Practitioner Certificate.

You will also receive 3 Credits towards the 22 Credits needed to achieve ‘ITIL® Expert’ level.
