Objectives
On successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to:

• make connections to a variety of relational databases
• execute DML SQL statements (e.g. SELECT)

• explore metadata to discover the properties of relational data sources.

Prerequisites
A minimum of 6 months experience in Java programming or equivalent. Attendance on the SQL Workshop or equivalent experience. Attendees also need proficiency in the use of basic SQL DML: INSERTs, UPDATEs, DELETEs and SELECTs.
