Course programme

Description

At Flux 'n' Flame we run courses from 1 day tasters to 3 day weekends as well as a 6 day summer school and regular weekly classes throughout the year. We cater for absolute beginners as well as those with more experience and aim to provide a fun, relaxed and creative environment. Students are free to discover new skills and experiment with new techniques in order to stretch their creativity. Our courses are flexible in their approach - we don't tell you what you have to make but instead students are guided in whatever they choose to do and receive individual tuition at a pace suited to them.

In addition to general precious jewellery making techniques covering skills such as piercing, soldering, reticulation, stone setting and forging, you can experiment with cuttlefish and sand casting techniques, creating stunning pieces with the satisfaction of using traditional, natural methods.

We have a good stock of silver, gold, copper and semi-precious stones which can be purchased throughout the course.
