As Jewellery Design plays a crucial role in Jewellery Production, giving specific instructions to the jewellery makers, a jewellery designer must have design skills to precisely convey his/her image, with appropriate expression skills. The designs will be realized in full-size or enlarged, with attention to minute details.
Through research and analysis of trend, shapes, functions, and materials, you will acquire design skills of gorgeous, rhythmical, and unique Jewelleries characteristic in Italy.

About this course

Students will learn how to express each parts, metals, how to draw different color and reflection angles or characteristics of each precious stones, and realize various types of jewelleries.

Accademia Riaci offers different programs in Jewellery Design for both beginners and advanced students.

Representation of the precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) surfaces:

- Representation of the precious stones cut: cabochon or faceted;

- Representation of the Pearls;

- Representation of the diamond;

- Representation of the glazes;

- Object representation of embedding techniques;

- Representation of surface finishing techniques: hammering, diamond, satin
