Tutor - The Classroom on School Lane

has been “crafting” for as long as she can remember. She studied Sculpture at the University of Tennessee working with non-traditional materials. Jennifer's focus is on Textiles and Jewellery Making and she has been teaching and selling her wares for the past few years. She also has a small on-line fabric store and facilitates workshops as a freelance artist.

Course programme

This is a great beginner's course. You will learn some of the key jewellery making technique to make some beautiful earrings. You will be 'let loose' on the tutor's bead box and will have plenty of time to experiment with different styles. You'll also get to take several pairs home with you, guaranteed to be unique from everyone else! You'll learn to:

  1. Wire wrapping

  2. Loop turning

  3. Working with chain.

  4. Attaching ear wires.

As with all our classes, all materials will be provided for the workshop, you're also welcome to bring any beads or broken jewellery to play with / fix!
