Course Aims:
Students will be introduced to basic Jewellery making, including general understanding of shape, colour, texture and use of various beads.
Course Content:
With support and guidance from your tutor, in a friendly atmosphere you will familiarise yourself with craft materials, resources, tools and equipment. How to calculate required materials for construction
You will be encouraged to investigate different materials, techniques and research to allow you to take ideas forward for creative development.
Progression:
Level 1 Art & Design / Textiles
There are a variety of Art & Design part time course across the Faculty.
Other Costs:
Advice will be given about materials on the first session from your tutor.
Duration:
2 hours a week for 8 or 12 weeks depending on location (see course guide)
