Come and explore making colourful jewellery with a twist! The course involves creating jewellery from coloured aluminium using straightforward metal working techniques that can be implemented at home or in a studio environment.

The course is suitable for beginners or anyone with metalworking/ silver-smithing experience. You do not need to have any experience working with this material, as you will be introduced to the techniques required during the course.

The aluminium will be provided in a variety patterns and colours which have been created using a special palette of inks and dyes. From these coloured sheets of metal you will be able to make jewellery with colour, style and exuberance! You will be introduced to metal manipulation techniques and processes including cutting, forming, hammering, riveting and many more processes.

You will also be able to include other materials such as silver, nylon, leather, beads, acrylic etc to compliment your aluminium jewellery. Aluminium and all equipment will be provided. Silver accessories and specialist rivets can be purchased from the course tutor.
