The Cookery School is now in its sixth year. It is the brainchild of Brian Hannan, who set up The Cookery School because he could not find anywhere locally to teach him how to cook. Brian also organises the annual Scottish Chef Awards and has edited The Flavour of Scotland cookbook and written Great Scots in The Cookery Business.We run One-Day and Evening Cookery Classes as well as Evening Wine Classes and Cocktail-Making Classes. Most of our courses are aimed at adults, but we also have a very popular Adult & Child (aged 10-plus) One-Day Class as well as Morning Classes for Schools. This summer we will be running Five-Day Courses for Adults as well as Five-Day Classes for Young Cooks (aged 14-plus). We also run a wide range of Corporate and Team Building courses.
