1 Week Kitchen Fitting Course

A well fitted kitchen not only looks good but can add value to the price of any property.
Buying the components and attempting to fit them without the required knowledge is a
recipe for disaster. A lot of thought, planning and workmanship goes into the building
of a kitchen. This course will explain everything you need to know including the
electrical and plumbing aspects that are necessary. This course will enable you to build
a kitchen with that professional finish and give you the opportunity to obtain
employment in the industry.

Plan and organise /re-organise a basic kitchen plan
Fit basic units together (carcassing)
Fit legs or plinth and level units
Construct a basic kitchen from given instructions - taking into account basic
electrical and plumbing requirements
Mark out and cut worktops to size
Fit worktops to units
Fit taps and carcass plumbing
Fit wall units allowing for electrical requirements
Basic electrical safety
Fit doors level and plum to close correctly
Fit handles and fittings stressing symmetry and measurement
Fit trim to kitchen to complete the look - cornice, bottom trim, concealed
lighting etc.
Electricity and reduced voltage
Design and complete a mock kitchen
Recap and course evaluation.
