This is a 2 year work based training course. You will attend one day a week and three block weeks a year. The rest of the time you will be working with an employer on site as an apprentice plasterer.
This course develops the practical hand skills and technical knowledge required to work as a professional dry liner in the Construction Industry.
We can help you to find a suitable work placement but you are encouraged to look for your own employer as we only have a limited number.

L2 Diploma in Dry Lining
L2 NVQ in Interior Systems - Dry Lining Fixing
L1 and L2 Functional Skills English & Maths (if not already achieved)

The course covers all aspects of Dry Lining.
The Apprenticeship is made up of 5 different areas:
L2 Dry Lining Diploma
NVQ 2 in Interior Systems - Dry Lining Fixing
L1 Functional Skills English & Maths
Employment Rights & Respnsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS)
You will build a file of evidence to support the work you carry out in the training centre as well as a e-portfolio for NVQ to represent the skills you have learnt in the workplace.
You will complete assessments throughout the course to demonstrate the skills and knowledge you have learnt.
An Apprenticeship is an ideal way to learn the most up to date skills while gaining real workplace experience.
When you have completed the course you will have all the necessary skills and experience to work as a dry liner in industry.
