Utilising art as a means of connecting to the spiritual realms, the non-physical dimensions, Roger Hanson allows inter-dimensional communication to take place through the process of art. He is not a trained artist and he doesn’t draw what he sees with his human eyes. With clear intention, he simply allows that which he does not see to emerge uncontrolled through smudges, lines, and textures which occur naturally and automatically through the art-making process. Labyrinths are used by modern-day mystics to invoke a meditative state. Usually seen as an intricate maze on a floor surface, seekers walk the maze with a particular question in mind, hoping the answer will come as they lose track of direction and outer-world influences while walking the labyrinth. In this presentation Roger creates a modern-day Labyrinth experience through Art, in which participants are guided to focus on an area in their life for which they would like an answer, guidance or support. And then, as they silently and with clear intention hold that thought, Roger will begin the art-making process. The art serves as a portal for communication with other dimensions, from which energetic beings of love will speak through Roger and his art, offering universal messages of guidance and support which participants will then apply to their unique questions, finding the support and guidance for which they have been seeking.
