Lampwork (Making Glass Beads)

Course review:

This short 2.5 to 3 hour course is aimed at beginners who would like to try out lampworking using a hot head torch. In this one-to-one session students will learn how to create their first bead by wrapping hot glass around a mandrel, how to make basic shapes and how to decorate using stringer. These handmade glass beads will then be annealed by the tutor (process will be explained) for the student to collect at a later date.

Saturday course times are 10 - 1pm

Other days will be evening courses from 7 - 9.30pm.
