Land-Based Studies City & Guilds (NPTC) Diploma Level 1

You'll need: no formal qualifications, although GCSEs at grade E or above, including English and Maths is preferable.

You'll learn: about safe working, farm animal husbandry, including their well-being and production for market, and crop husbandry and harvesting; whilst developing the personal skills and qualities you need to find and keep the job you want.

Expect: to gain employment skills such as using mathematics and English, managing money, getting and keeping a job, working relationships and attitudes, building your confidence and developing your selfmanagement skills.

You'll love: using agricultural equipment including tractors.
