landscape experience and sketching workshop

"What we did with you in the Pyrenees has made me re-look at landscapes that I know well. Went to a favourite Welsh valley at the beginning of the month and came back with a new appreciation of it, thanks." Jon Syed I  liked the drawing (honestly! Because of what it did to my experience of what I saw - it definitely deepened). I felt enriched by the discussions we had, by the literature and materials lying about, by meeting people with very different walks of life but at least one shared interest, and by concentrating on one sense, or some senses, that I don't usually use consciously. You were fantastic as a host. You were kind, you showed empathy and sense of humour, you seemed relaxed although you were working pretty hard from 7.10 ( getting the croissants! ) up to 10.30 or so, seemed you were enjoying yourself too ( or maybe you are just a very good actor?), chose wonderful spots, had obviously done a lot of preparation work, had organized the week well.
