Perming: Eye lash perming enhances the lashes and makes the eyes appear more prominent and the lashes to appear longer. The market of people who do benefit from this treatment include:

· Those who wear glasses or contact lenses

· Those who are allergic to make up or mascara

· Those who don't enjoy or cant apply make up

· Those who are more mature with sagging eyelids

· Those who work in hot steamy environments

Course content:

Full practical demonstration and guidance throughout the day

You will give a client a full lash and brow tint and brow shape with tweezers

Health and Safety at Work Law, Sterilisation and Hygiene in the salon

Data Protection

Anatomy and Physiology relating to the course you are studying

Consultation process and an example of the consultation card.

Contra-indications and how to recognise them, Contra-actions

Licensing requirements if required. Professionalism/ Code of Ethics

Local Bylaws that may affect your business e.g. treating minors.

Where to obtain insurance and details of professional associations.

Entry Requirement & Prerequisites:

None – your model must go to their training centre for a patch test 48 hours prior to the training day

Course duration & CPD:

1/2 Day, 7 CPD

Assessment and Examination Method:

There will be continuous formative assessments taking place during your training day and you will be expected to answer verbal questions and perform an eye lash perming with minimal direction from your tutor over the one day.
