Course programme
A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE qualifications.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?GCSE grades A*-C in at least 6 academic subjects in one sitting, including one B in English or a suitable subject.
What will I study ?AS Law specification - H134 Examining Board - OCR Unit 1 - The English Legal System Unit 2 - Sources of Law * In addition Tutorial will be added.
How will I be assessed ?Assessment will be through examination only
What qualifications could I achieve ?On successful completion of this course, you will achieve an AS Level certificate in the first year and a full A Level certificate at the end of the second year.
How do I join the course ?You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a Tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment.
Will I need an interview ?Yes, before you can enrol.
Any extra costs for equipment/materials ?Textbook: 'OCR Law for AS' by J Martin. Visits will include a trip to the Old Bailey or a Magistrates' Court, a Law conference and Parliament.
