Leadership and Management - Foundation Degree

Modules will include: Introduction to Leadership and Management Sector Contexts Managing Resources Finance and Marketing for Managers Project Management Managing People and Performance Strategy, Innovation and Enterprise Work Related Learning Professional Development Managing Customer Relations Managing Continuous Improvement and Change Learning and Development in Organisations You will develop a range of academic skills such as presenting, referencing, research and writing, as well as many skills required by employers such as communication, use of IT, teamwork, independent work and dealing with the general public. This course will be delievered at the University Centre (formerly College House). For core modules, a dedicated teaching room containing shuttle based laptop PCs is provided for the course which enables interactive online activities and assessment to take place during class sessions. A GCSE grade C in English, or equivalent, is also required. However, candidates receiving this offer will have experience in their chosen subject area.
