Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council is committed to the continuing development of all employees and this has been recognised through the Investor in People award which we have achieved through continual review since November 1997. The Council ensures that its managers are informed and manage effectively. We have been able to gain confirmation of this by supporting managers through NVQ qualifications.
We linked to West Cheshire College for the NVQ 4 in Management Studies in 2003 and since then a number of our managers have achieved success. The service offered by the College has been flexible to the needs of the individual and the tutor is very enthusiastic and encouraging. This partnership has benefited all involved.
