Introduction Delegates will have a clearer understanding of when they should be leading and when they
should be managing. They will also feel more confident when trying to motivate their teams.

Key Objectives On completion of the course, delegates will:

· understand the difference between leadership and management
· be able to describe a number of leadership styles
· know when to use different leadership styles
· have explored a number of theories of motivation
· be able to explain different methods for motivating others
