Our ladies' haircutting course is the perfect start to a successful career. Ideal for those looking to work in the hairdressing industry, those wishing to change careers, or those thinking of opening their own salon or adding lucrative hairdressing services to their beauty salon service menu. This course is also ideal for hair extensionists wishing to offer a greater array of services to their clients or those wishing to run their own successful mobile hairdressing business.

It never hurts to add a new skill to your repertoire, one which is easily transferable from one locale to the next. With our course you will gain a skill for life.

Our intensive 5 day beginners' course has been specially designed for those with no prior hairdressing experience and it is also suitable for those that wish to refresh key skills. It includes expert instruction by the Cobra professional team in all of the key areas such as scalp massage and shampooing, professional blow drying / straightening and diffusing, bone structure/anatomy and hair analysis, client consultation skills, health 7 safety, key hairdressing techniques of layering, one length and graduation, texturising, slicing, freehand, styling, product use and finishing. In short, all of the key skills in ladies' professional hairdressing.

This course is taught by leading industry experts and educators who specialise in the field of hairdressing education. Our Academy Director is Sid Sottung, who recently guest starred as a celebrity hair stylist and expert on the well-known website, myhairdressers.com. All of our educators at Cobra are highly experienced and educated, ensuring that you receive the very highest level of instruction and the education that you deserve.

What I would highlight: I would definitely recommend this course as it was informative, well balanced, excellently prepared, all questions answered and best of all, you can put into practice what you have been taught with immediate effect with just the essential tools. Any problems and you can contact your tutor without hesitation which is the best part. Meeting other students was great too as we were all from different backgrounds, ethnicity and professions. The course exceeded my expectations.
Yes, Sid has great way of learning without complicating matters. Easy to learn approach with loads of practical work - not just theory theory and more theory! The location of venue was away from any distractions so total tutor committment was given. You can put into practice what you have learnt with immediate effect. Sid was a brilliant tutor with many years of hairdressing experience so knew many tricks of the trade, etc. Thank you Sid.

What could be improved: The whole course was a positive one - No Complaints. There was nothing that I did not enjoy about the course.

What I would highlight: Sid did a wonderful job of teaching me in a very simplified way the Fast Track Contemporary Ladies Haircutting Course. Theory and practical work was very well balanced and Sid also provided our live models! This course was worthwhile and I have already been able to put into practice what I was taught with excellent feedback, so looking forward to do more haircuts by word-of-mouth. Sid was very focused on teaching us the correct way to ensure good hair cut. The course was definitely a venue where you are there to learn and not mess about. Im now making preparation to hopefully have my own room to rent out with a friend (to start off with and gradually build up on my knowledge and what I was taught at the Academy.) Venue was easy to find and transport was excellent as well places to eat with reasonable prices!!

What I would highlight: Hi Everybody i just finished attending the 5 days ladies cutting course. I live in the Netherlands, but went all the way to Nottingham, United Kingdom, to attend this course. It´s been the best experience ever. I learned sooo much, after finishing the course, i can cut any ladieshaircut, whatever the client wants, I can do it for her. The course is really intense, amd the teacher will push you to your limits. You will feel tired and sometimes you will wonder whether you will be able to learn everyting in just 5 days. But believe me, you will, and you will feel so proud of yourself and ready to start your career. I enjoyed the course so much that i signed up with the barber course and wet shaving course as well. I higly recommand the cobra hair academy to anyone who is serious about starting a career as a hairdresser/barber. If you are living abroad just like me, and you are wondering whether it´s worth the trip, believe me it is. Thank you cobra hair academy for teaching me so many skills looking forward to be back again in august!

What I would highlight: I would recomend Cobra Hair Academy because of there high stendered of theaching.there metherd of teaching, there small class number it's like you get one to one from your tutor. I can't prais the Academy enough. Especially the legend Sid. He is an amazing tutor. He has so much knowledge at such a young age,He is really pasionate about what he teach's.Oh & when they told me that course is going to be Intense, believe me they are NOT Kidding you.There hygeine level is above the rest, he has imbeded the right way's of working in a salon be it your own or not. r I know it's going to be with me for the rest of my life & not just for my hairdressing career. I was shattered at the end of the 5 day hair cutting course, it's was like having 5 years of learning material in a 5 day's course. I was a complete beginne rwhen I came t o cobra Hair Academy. Now thatI have completed the 5 day lady's hair cutting course, I've come home and done my both my girl's hair, who
The vast amount of knowledge you learn and take away with you from the 5 day's hair cutting course was amazing. You now know what the the hair dresser is doing with out them opening there mouth,and it is not at an extortionate rates that you have to re-morgege your house. I don't think you can get that amount of experties as you get at Cobra Hair Academy. All the team members are really easy to talk to and very proffetional. And at the same time if you are strugling Sid the tutor will explane it in a diffrent way untill you grasp it, any where else you prob's will not get.

What could be improved: Leaving the Cobra Hair Academy after the 5 day's cutting course. I just wanted to carry on learning from my tutor his teaching metherd is easy to grasp and keep hold of.

What I would highlight: Great course!!! The best i've ever been on. location and venue was great, right in the city centre and the teaching area was lovely, very modern, clean and professional. i had my own work station and full set of equipment, so i didnt have to worry about buying or bringing anything with me. My tutor was fantastic, really made me feel at ease and was very professional at all times. all tutors have years of experience working for vidal sassoon and it really shows. i received nothing but the highest levels of teaching and i felt i was getting a masterclass with a top industry pro as there were only 5 other students in my class, as standard a cobra, so we had lots of help and attention. At the end of this course i did my finaltrade test model and was so happy i managed to do so well- i felt so confident, excited and i had so much attention and encouragement from my tutor. he really made sure every student, including myself had a great time and made the course fun as well as a learning experience. i have now enrolled upon the colour and barbering courses and am looking forward to achieving my dream of being a hairdresser at long last. thank you so much cobra, i had no experience previously and with your professional guidance and amazing teaching i feel like a real pro. i highly recommend cobra to everyone who is looking for an affordable beginners course as it is so much more affordable than other people i'd seen on emagister, yet they do not compromise on anything, you get the best of everything.
