Learn how to use a Thai foot stick FHT Accredited course

Would you like to offer a new, additional service to your clients? Thai Foot Massage is a relatively new concept in the UK, but has been practised for hundreds of years in various forms, both in Thailand and beyond. It is believed to have originated over 2000 years ago and has its roots in India, Korea, Japan and China.

Thai Foot Massage is a wonderfully relaxing treatment that can be offered to your clients as a 'stand alone' therapy - there are always clients who love having their feet massaged! Or, you can integrate these Thai techniques into your existing skills.

As far as prerequisites, this is an accredited, level 3 practitioner course. Thus, you must have a recognised massage or reflexology qualification in order to attend. Please call the center for clarification if you’re unsure whether your qualifications meet the requirement.

On the day of the seminar, the emphasis will be on practical application of the Thai technique. Students will learn how to use the Thai foot stick and chart, the aim being to ensure that all students feel confident adding this new skill to their repetoire of therapies and that they are able to perform this treatment with ease. This course is suitable for: qualified massage therapists and reflexologists.

Course programme

THAI FOOT MASSAGE

Thai Foot Massage consists of working on the feet and lower legs, and is performed with the hands and with a Thai foot stick. The treatment is both relaxing and invigorating, and has the aim of balancing the body and encouraging good health.

Thai Foot Massage can be performed as a stand alone treatment, but equally some of the techniques can be integrated into your existing foot and leg routine, as well as into a reflexology treatment. A comprehensive manual covering the course content will be provided. The Thai stick & chart used during the course will be yours to keep.
