This NATIONALLY-ACCREDITED course offers you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in self-management and in working with people; it has a strong focus on PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS of what managers do and how others perform.
It enables you to develop interpersonal skills such as assertiveness and negotiation skills, as well as other techniques such as stress management. You will audit your current skill levels and then devise, implement and evaluate an ACTION PLAN to address your development needs and enhance your PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS.
This course also gives you the skills and knowledge in the main areas of PEOPLE MANAGEMENT. You will become conversant with current approaches and techniques of managing people and be able to apply them to your work as a manager in your organisation. As a result, your effectiveness as manager should be increased.
