Language modules give you practical communication skills for work and leisure in the language of your choice. You also learn about the culture and the country or countries where the language is spoken. More advanced students can gear their language study towards their subject specialism.
We teach all language classes at our City Campus where we have digital language laboratories and a multimedia self-access centre. Study resources include satellite TV, video, audio and internet-based language learning activities.
As well as tuition from your tutor, you have the opportunity for extra conversation practice with a foreign language assistant in French, German, Spanish or Italian. We encourage you to join our social events to meet fellow learners and native speakers of the language you are studying.
