What will I study?
This course will qualify students to work in supporting learners in a post 16 education setting such as a further education college or other training providers. Students will plan and implement appropriate support for students and then have the opportunity to evaluate their performance in conjunction with their tutor. It is a requirement of the course that students already have appropriate employment or a work placement in order to be able to carry out the class activities and provide examples to meet the course assessment criteria.

The Certificate in Learning Support is a national qualification and is recognised by FE colleges and other post-16 education and training providers.

Course Structure
Whilst studying towards this qualification the following modules will be covered; *Planning for Learning Support *Implementing Learning Support *Evaluating Learning Support These three units are spread over the year and will require the completion of practical activities in order to generate the appropriate evidence for each unit. In the last third of the programme, students are required to complete a support-related practical project.
