Course outline
You will study a range of Health and Social Care units such as Communication in Health and Social Care, Person-Centred Support, Equality and Inclusion and Dementia Awareness. As this course is aimed at adult students returning to study who wish to develop their study skills, there will be units on note-taking, presentation skills, spelling, punctuation and grammar, to support you to do this. You will also have the chance to study ESOL, English and maths qualifications alongside your main course.

Don’t worry about the cost of learning! We can help and advise you. For 16-18 year-olds, your tuition will be free and you may be able to get discounted travel with Transport for London student travel cards. If you do need to pay a fee, the College offers a number of ways to pay and can also advise you about financial support available to you. How do I enrol? For 16-18 year old students main enrolment is the day when GCSE results are released (August). However, early enrolment does take place during the summer. Student success Last year, our achievement rate was 91%. Among our progressing graduates, one secured a place at East 15 Acting School, while another is pursuing Musical Theatre at Urdang. Support for you Before you start your lessons, you’ll take part in induction sessions, where you’ll meet other students and find out all about the support that’s available to you.
