The programme includes a variety of Warehousing and Storage topics, providing a broad understanding of logistics industry disciplines. There are two mandatory units covering health & safety, security & effective working relationships. Further credit comes from a wide range of optional units, covering activities including picking, processing, assembling and dispatching orders, and moving and handling goods and equipment.

As part of your programme you will also complete Functional Skills in English, Maths at Level 1 and also training on Employers Rights and Responsibilities (ERR), upon completion of all of these elements you will receive the Apprenticeship Framework Certificate.

Course programme

This programme is ideal for anyone with an interest in Warehousing and Storage, new or existing workers, particularly those with basic experience or understanding of the logistics industry and who may wish to progress to the Level 3 programmes, which can lead to employment.
You will achieve an EAL Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage, and Functional Skills in English & Maths and also training on Employers Rights and Responsibilities (ERR), upon completion of all of these elements you will receive the Apprenticeship Framework Certificate.
Assessment will be carried out in the workplace (unless otherwise specified) via observation and the collation of evidence in a portfolio. The final grade is determined by a points system that will be explained during induction week.
