Course ContentOur Level 2 course offers students tow pathway options, for Art and Design and Fashion with Textiles. Once you reach interview you stage, you can decide which pathway is the right choice for you with information and guidance from our tutors.
Entry Requirements
The Art and Design pathway is a lively, innovative course that trains in both the creativity and technical aspects of art and design where you will gain knowledge about contemporary art practice and art history. You will take part in trips and visits to various galleries and museums, as well as carrying out research on the possibilities of working in the art and design industry.
The Fashion with Textiles pathway is a creative introduction into the world of fashion and textiles, developing your drawing, design, sewing and construction skills. You will investigate the historical aspects of fashion, using it as an inspiration for your project work, as well as researching different cultures and eras, investigating their style.
GCSE Maths and English re-sit will also be embedded into the course to ensure you have the relevant qualifications to progress on to the next level.
