Who is this course for?

This level will suit you if you already work in a job where food safety is important - probably in a role where you are supervised. You want to increase your food safety knowledge and take on more responsibility. This qualification meets with government guidelines and will ensure that you have covered the required training for a food handler.

Working in the hospitality or retail industry.

The importance of food safety, common food hazards, contamination, food poisoning, food spoilage, allergens, hazard control, legal requirements and due diligence.
