Who should enrol
CIEH have identified a growing need to make certification more relevant to specific business environments. These new qualifications address the new National Occupational Standards reflecting sector-specific needs. The CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety have now been designed to address the food safety needs of the catering, manufacturing or retail sectors separately. The 3 awards currently available are:

Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing
Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Retail

Lynher Training will normally run the "Catering" option unless specifically requested to provide an alternative.

This course is a pre-requisite for the "Intermediate Food Safety" course.

Answer papers are returned to CIEH for marking - candidates cannot be told whether they have passed or failed until the certificates are returned. (usually within 28 days)
