About this course
If student is not registered with VTCT form must be completed at start of course. A good command of written and oral English is required. There is no interview required but guidance is available and recommended. Evidence of prior Level 2 qualifications required otherwise student will need and Initial Assessment, where you will need to achieve a Level l.

Are there any additional requirements?
Materials:A basic kit is provided, although the student will be expected to purchase materials and basic equipment as the course progresses, such as folders,10 dividers, plastic wallets and pens and paper.
Uniform:
Students MUST be dressed in a white tunic uniform top with navy trousers and shoes.
Other: Candidates will need to provide a model on a number of occasions for practical work and assessments.

Note: Units VR02 and VR74 (Health and Safety) will need to be taken if you have not achieved them previously within three years of completing this qualification.
How will you be assessed?
A range of assessment methods will be used including:
Observation of practical skills - Oral questioning and written evidence. Plus an external multiple choice paper. Continual assessment is carried out by a VTCT Verifier/Tutor. For assessment purposes at
80% attendance is required.
