Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Working in Mental Health (VRQ)

This qualification aims to raise awareness of -Mental health problems -The processes and approaches involved in the care and support of those who experience mental ill-health There are 3 mandatory units that are required to be successfully completed and they are: Unit 1Understanding mental health and the importance of valuing equality and diversity Unit 2: Duty of care and approaches to the management of care in mental health Unit 3: Understanding change and support in relation to mental health Learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units. This qualification can be delivered either in group sessions, one to one or distance learning through the completion of assessment books and workbooks. Candidates can complete this course within 3 to 6 months.Through guided learning using the student support material, one-to-one sessions with the tutor, group tutorials and independent study.
