Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care BTEC

Learners will study a range of units designed to inspire and enthuse them to consider a career in the health and social care sector. Topics covered will give learners the opportunity to develop skills and gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the health and social care sector. This will include units such as: - Human Lifespan Development - Health and Social Care Values - Carrying out a Research Project in Health and Social Care - Effective Communication in Health and Social Care - Equality and Diversity and Rights in Health and social Care - Individual Rights in Health and Social Care - Healthy Living You will be encouraged to undertake work experience in a health and social care related environments, which may include care homes and childcare settings.There will be on-going assessment via unit specific assignments both internally and externally assessed.
