Who is this course for?

Men and Women looking to gain a Level 2 unit in Gel Nails

What qualifications or experience do I need ?

An NVQ/VRQ Level 2 Manicure certificate is required or equivalent. Level 1 English/Literacy or equivalent is required.

What will I study ?

Theory, science, health and safety, practical. LED gel polish techniques will be applied, maintained and removed as part of the assessments. Range statements include fingers, toes, dark, light, French gel colours.

How will I be assessed ?

Assignment, online test, practical observations, oral questions.

What qualifications could I achieve ?

A Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish.

Any extra costs for equipment/materials ?

Uniform, text book and LED Gel Polish kit is required before the start of the course. Costs will be advised at interview.

Further Information

An A4 folder, plastic wallets and dividers are required for the end of portfolio. Students should bring two hand towels per day.
